Diane is a creative sort who has earned degrees in art history and communications. She has always loved the sales field, which is an integral part of being an interior designer. Diane’s career background includes store management and furniture sales which is directly tied to her love of interior design.
Perhaps the reason Diane enjoys sales and management so much is because she is a true “people person.” She is thrilled by the challenge of helping her clients take the ideas they have in their heads for the ideal home and making those ideas come to life. As Diane says of most of her clientele, “They sort of have an idea of what they want but don’t know how to get it.”
If that sounds like you, all you have to do is give Diane your information and she will help you get exactly what YOU want, where that’s a comfortable playroom for the kids, an updated bedroom for mom and dad, a fresh color scheme or ideas on incorporating heirlooms passed down from grandparents. She uses her knowledge and experience to help anyone add good design, a naturally flowing floor plan and a sense of elegant form and function to their home. Diane’s goal is to make this entire process as easy and fun and stress- free as possible.
Diane’s personal background includes spending eight years in Europe as a former military spouse while raising three children. Today she loves traveling, reading and painting in her spare time. The love of family and being surrounded by people with a good sense of humor are imperative. For many years she called a small town located outside New York City home but Diane recently moved to California to be near her daughter and son. Of course, her must-have collection of art history books from great museums around the world had to come with her.
Diane is having a wonderful time adjusting to the slower pace of life in California. She is always game to try lots of great new restaurants. She lives in Kensington and has found lots of great eateries along Adams Avenue. One of her favorites is DaoFu, a Thai- oriental fusion place. Diane enjoys exploring Asian cuisine but she always loves ordering from San Diego’s ubiquitous taco trucks, such as her favorite at 35th and El Cajon.
Diane is anxious to meet you and help you design the interior of your dreams. Come in, say hello and welcome Diane to the California lifestyle while she brings your ideas to life.
